Story
Team Our Superhero Bella is named after our brave daughter Isabella White.
A beautiful, kind and brave 10 year old girl....
rewind to 2011 and Bella was just 20 months old when she was diagnosed with this childhood cancer. Bella was diagnosed with Stage 3, intermediate risk Neuroblastoma. A large solid tumour was growing in her abdomen making her very very sick. Fortunately Bella’s tumour wasn’t classified as aggressive - and after chemotherapy and major surgery she was able to fight this cancer and be where she is today! She still has tumour remaining in her abdomen, however it is stable and hasn’t grown since 2011.

Neuroblastoma Australia
Neuroblastoma is a devasting childhood cancer with the average age of diagnosis being just two years old. With survival of rates for aggressive neuroblastoma at only 50%, this disease claims more lives of children under the age of five than any other cancer.
We don’t need a miracle; just more research.
Neuroblastoma Australia, is a registered charity founded by families with children affected by the disease and has raised over $1.7 million for research into a cure for this complex cancer which almost exclusively affects young children.
